U.S. Men's National Team "World Cup roster announcement"

U.S. Soccer tapped Industry to create a USMNT roster announcement video for their social channels ahead of World Cup ‘22. We set to work immediately, calling together all the biggest USMNT fans in the proverbial rolodex, hopped in a room, and identified insights for every player (locked and potential) that we could build scenarios around. Once, we had a scenario for each player, I created a VO script to weave them all together into a narrative that would get even the most cynical USMNT fan hyped for our squad.

Classic stuff, here — we pitched them a $1M script loaded with brand integrations and VW ID Buzz-driven narrative. The client took one look and said, “Hey, great stuff, here! Here’s $14K. Figure it out.”

So, we did. We called in a ton of favors and friends, filming over three days all over Portland, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Shout out Bright Black Studios for their expert stewardship of the production, my brother’s F-350 “Cherry Diesel” throwing dirt, and Nash for taking one for the team with that belly rocker.
